We have lightly touched the subject of pesticides in the previous post. This time we prepared you some extractions from the Greenpeace document that we mentioned.

Link to the full PDF doc is at the end of the post.
Introduction:"..The latest Greenpeace investigation has discovered that the massive use of chemical pesticides is seriously affecting the safety of tea in the Chinese market."
Methodology: "..Greenpeace purchased at random 18 different kinds of medium-grade tea, all popular with consumers..", which it then sent to "an accredited third-party laboratory for pesticide testing."
Results:
"All of the tea samples contained a variety of pesticides"
"Illegal pesticides were found on 12 samples." (out of 18)
"14 samples contained pesticides that may impair fertility, cause harm to an unborn child or cause heritable genetic damage.."
NOTE: Even though the research was done in 2012, it is still relevant. The issues did not disappear. They only expanded since 2012.
